DID U HEAR: CLAYTON ARMSTRONG ESCAPES FROM PRISON AFTER CONFESSING HIS ROLE IN BIGGIES MURDER

Clayton Armstrong Hill, a former member of the Nation of Islam, somehow managed to successfully escape out of the medium security prison where he was detained. Hill was incarcerated for pleading guilty to over 100 fraudulent federal income tax returns in the mid-2000's, and then made a shocking confession in July 2011.  Hill came forward to confess to his role as an accessory after the fact in the murder of Notorious B.I.G.  He made the confession in his memoir "Diary of an Ex-Terrorist," and also elaborated on the confession during an interview with HipHopDX.

According to his confession to DX, Hill allegedly took the gun away from the shooter, and the Nation of Islam was heavily involved in covering up Biggie's murder.

"[Dawoud Muhammad] stated to me that he was on the run for the murder [of The Notorious B.I.G.].  He disclosed that he was the shooter of The Notorious B.I.G. because he (Dawoud) was a former Blood gang member and was paid to do so."

It was discovered that he had escaped after a bed count was conducted and Hill was missing from his cell.

"I was notified by officials ... that inmate Clayton Armstrong Hill walked off the grounds.  A bed count was conducted to verify Hill's status, and at approximately 6:40 p.m. Hill was identified as missing," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Clay M. Cleveland noted in an affidavit, as reported by Atlanta Journal-Constitution. 

Hill apparently made his escape last week.

REAL RAP... RAPPER CONVICTED OVER LYRICS

Hopeful Texas rapper Anthony Johnson was charged with the murder of his So Fly Entertainment business partner Romuald Ngande recently and will face life in prison. Ngande suffered from a fatal gunshot wound inflicted by an AK-47 assault rifle.

Johnson originally claimed self-defense, and told prosecutors that Ngande was angry after he was denied a ride to work. Johnson reportedly put a gun in Ngande's mouth, and shot him when Ngande reached for his pocket. Apparently, Ngande was unarmed and was simply reaching for a lighter.

"He grabbed it real quick and said, 'Go ahead. Do it, do it. Blow out my brains," Johnson told jurors. "He reached into his pocket. I just saw a gleam of silver."

Johnson, however, failed to help his own case. While imprisoned, he was busy writing rap lyrics. Lyrics that would later be used against him in court. One of the lines reads, "I'm a beast, I'm a beast/ that cannot be tamed."

After six-plus hours of deliberation, the jury rejected his claim of self-defense.

BEEF: @50CENT ENDS BEEF WITH INTERSCOPE

Since his introduction into mainstream Hip Hop, 50 Cent has been involved in several rap beefs with various artists. He embraced playing the role of the bad guy and it even reached as far as the offices of Interscope Records. It wasn't necessarily beef between the G-Unit leader and Interscope executives, but 50 did have his issues and in a recent interview, he spoke about his past problems and says he's moved on.

"With Interscope, look, all artists are going to express their frustrations with the system at some point," 50 told SOHH. "I've had all the success in my career with Interscope Records. You know? So when everybody is there and working, that's a powerful system there but a lot of people that are walking around the building now are new faces so I'm reintroducing myself and creating a new focus with the people that are actually there."

Earlier in the year, 50 Cent discussed his prior differences with Interscope Records, citing "audit issues" as the main issue.

"They're in full support of me now. We cleared up audit issues. That's always an issue, when you get to the final album or the final requirement you end up going through the books with everything that you've done," he said. "Once those things are resolved, everyone is ready to get back to work, and that's where we're at."

A Detroit official says the city financial condition is rapidly deteriorating and City Hall could run out of cash by mid-December.

City program management director William Andrews made the assessment Monday at a meeting of the Financial Advisory Board, a city-state panel overseeing Detroit's finances under its fiscal stability agreement with the state.

Andrews says Detroit's cash-flow crisis is "more challenging than it's ever been" and worse than a month ago.

He says city will need to find new revenue sources.

Advisory board chairwoman Sandy Pierce says despite voter repeal of the emergency manager law, the financial stability agreement and the advisory board remain intact.

Mayor Dave Bing and Gov. Rick Snyder agreed on state oversight as an alternative to a state financial takeover.

I think that it’s morally obscene and spiritually profane to spend $6 billion on an election, $2 billion on a presidential election, and not have any serious discussion—poverty, trade unions being pushed against the wall dealing with stagnating and declining wages when profits are still up and the 1 percent are doing very well, no talk about drones dropping bombs on innocent people. So we end up with such a narrow, truncated political discourse, as the major problems—ecological catastrophe, climate change, global warming. So it’s very sad. I mean, I’m glad there was not a right-wing takeover, but we end up with a Republican, a Rockefeller Republican in blackface, with Barack Obama, so that our struggle with regard to poverty intensifies.
