Sixteen Grand Rapids businesses have been cited for selling alcohol to underage police decoys.
The Grand Rapids Department's Vice Unit and Special Response Team recently conducted 73 business compliance checks. The operation focused on the return of college students to the area that are under 21 and may try to buy alcohol.
Employees at 12 of the cited businesses checked the identification of the underage decoy and still sold the alcohol, police said.

- Quinn & Tuites Irish Pub – 1535 Plainfield Ave. NE

- American Legion Boat & Canoe Club – 401 North Park NE
- Rocky's – 633 Ottawa Ave. NW
