WTF: MUSKEGON MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A DOG!

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A 59-year-old Muskegon man pleaded no contest to sexually assaulting his dog last August.
Jose Antonio Sanchez entered the plea Friday. A no contest plea is treated as a guilty plea at sentencing, and Sanchez faces as much as 22.5 years in prison -- 15 years for the sodomy and another 7.5 years for being a habitual offender.
Already on parole for a previous sexual assault in 1997, he told his parole officer last year about the sexual encounter with the dog.
The parole officer then notified the Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office, which in turn charged Sanchez with the sexual assault.
He's been held in the county jail since his arrest, and will be sentenced on July 12.
