Two men were arrested and charges are being sought against a woman in connection with a drug bust in Van Buren County.
David Stanfill, 45, from Paw Paw was jailed on a felony warrant from the Lansing Tether Unit, and new charges of possession of methamphetamine.
A 46-year-old man from Paw Paw was jailed on charges of assault on a police officer, resisting and obstructing police, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
A 31-year-old woman from Paw Paw was not arrested, and charges to be sought include possession of marijuana and possession of prescription drugs.
The Van Buren County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit began the investigation after hearing some people were buying meth-related components in Paw Paw.
Detectives arrived at Devan Mobile Home Park, 58975 S. Lagrave St., around 4 p.m. Tuesday, talked to the occupants of a residence and then entered the home.
One of the occupants, Stanfill, was taken into custody on that felony warrant.
As police talked to the unnamed male suspect and told him a search warrant was being obtained for the home, he became upset and pushed one of the detectives, according to a news release.
Detectives wrestled with the suspect, who kept trying to pull away, and was eventually taken into custody.
Police searched the home and located about two grams of finished meth, ground Sudafed, chemicals/components used to manufacture meth, paraphernalia used to smoke meth, and a small amount of marijuana. Police also seized $12,501 in cash.
