Police told 24 Hour News 8 a driver tried to run someone over during a fight.
It happened near Third Street and Lane Avenue NW in Grand Rapids around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say the car clipped a male teen who was not seriously hurt.
Officers found the vehicle on an unrelated call later in the night.
Nobody has been arrested for the incident.
Investigators are trying to figure out who was driving the car when it tried to break up the fight.
