Police in Grand Rapids are trying to figure out who intentionally set a car on fire early Sunday morning.
Grand Rapids Police were called to the corner of Grandville ave. and Naylor St. around 3 a.m. Sunday for a car that was fully engulfed in flames.
Police said that the car was not registered as stolen, and is from the neighborhood.
Police are considering this to be a case of arson.
According to police a man was seen jumping on a bike and leaving the scene after the car was on fire.
The car was parked along the side of a building in an area where some people from the area park their cars when they are for sale.
Police said they do not know if that is the case with this car because the inside had so much damage they could not determine if there were any for sale signs in the car.
