Police say they didn't have reports of significant property damage or injuries in Ann Arbor following Michigan's loss in the NCAA men's basketball national title game.

The University of Michigan Police say there were reports of small incidents around campus early Tuesday morning. The Ann Arbor Fire Department responded to some burning items, but nothing was out of control.
A 24 Hour News 8 crew noticed small fires containing couches, mattresses and pallets in streets.
A lieutenant with the Ann Arbor Police Department told 24 Hour News 8 that officers arrested one person for disorderly conduct.

Overall, the crowds in Ann Arbor were described as subdued after Monday night's game in Atlanta.

Ann Arbor police had said they were stepping up patrols to make sure Michigan's try for its first national title since 1989 didn't lead to disorder. Campus police also had extra officers on duty for the game.

Louisville police used tear gas and an armored car early Tuesday to calm disturbances that erupted during a celebration of the Cardinals' 82-76 win.

Gatherings were mostly peaceful following Louisville's third title and first since 1986. Campus police, working with Louisville police and sheriff's deputies, reported just 10 arrests and three injuries after students swarmed the area following the Cardinals' win.

However, things got out of hand around Cardinal Boulevard and Third Street as the revelry was winding down.

Riot police were called in after an officer was attacked. Students quickly fled the area but several scuffles ensued and bottles were thrown, forcing police to use tear gas.

The armored carrier was brought in and order was restored before 2:30 a.m.
