A man was shot and killed by a woman while three children were in the upstairs apartment of a Grand Rapids house.
Police were called to the 100 block of Leonard NE on the reports of a shooting.
When police arrived they found a 34-year-old man in the driveway of a house.
On scene a women told police that she had shot her boyfriend inside a nearby apartment.
The 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died, the 30-year-old woman is in custody.

Police told 24 Hour News 8 the three children, all under the age of 10, were in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but it's not clear if they witnessed it.
An autopsy is scheduled for the victim Wednesday.
