Lansing police say two bodies have been found in the Red Cedar River in as many days, a female homicide victim and a teenage boy who drowned.

Police tell the Lansing State Journal and TV stations WLNS and WILX that a witness saw a body floating in the river near Crego Park, and authorities pulled out a woman's body about 11:45 a.m. Saturday.

She's believed to be 20 to 30 years old. The Ingham County medical examiner's office is investigating, and the death is being treated as a homicide.

On Friday, Mlive.com says authorities found the body of 17-year-old Artvon Moore of Lansing floating in the river near the capital city's downtown. He's believed to have drowned.
