Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's only daughter, is making headlines after she reportedly told a friend during an online chat that her father's posthumus album, Michael, featured vocals by Jason Malachi. TMZ revealed that the video chat is now being shopped around to various media outlets.
The album was released on December 14, 2010 and featured previously unreleased tracks from Michael, including its lead track "Hold My Hand," a duet recorded in 2007 with Akon and Michael.
Paris recorded the video chat in 2008 before the album was released and even joked about the conversation being "leaked" online. The conversation took place right around the time that rumors were circulating that the Michael album was recorded by Malachi, not Jackson, which both Sony and Malachi vehemently denied.
During the conversation Paris played "Hold My Hand" and one of her friends asks why it doesn't sound like Michael on the track, to which she replied "It's NOT him ... the whole album isn't even him!! Go online ... go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him!!"
