WTF: Man's Comcast Cable Box Infests Home With Cockroaches

Man's Comcast Cable Box Infests Home With Cockroaches

Chicago resident Antonio Munoz had new cable installed by Comcast, but the company delivered more than just a cable box.
As Munoz sat back to watch some TV, cockroaches began crawling out of the cable box in his parent's room, Munoz said. He said it looked like the equipment came from a different user and was not new.
Comcast, in typical cable company fashion, denied being responsible for the infestation, and at first refused to service the box. How did this happen? The Beacon-News has an idea, and referenced a recent lawsuit filed against the company.
"The lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District Court, says that employees were often forced to install inadequate, bug-infested equipment at homes on Chicago's South Side."
