Four people are in custody and one person was Tased after police were called to a domestic dispute on the southeast side of Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids police were called to reports of a domestic dispute at Stuyvesant Apartments on Cherry Street near Madison around 8:15 p.m on Thursday. Officers attempted to arrest the people invovled in a scuffle. Four people were arrested and are being housed at the Kent County Jail. One person fought with police. That individual was Tased by officers to subdue him. A gun and knife were recovered on the scene by police, but GRPD said that no one was shot or stabbed. One officer suffered a minor injury to the hand during the scuffle.
