Authorities say thieves crashed a sport utility vehicle through the front of a Detroit gas station, shot a worker inside and stole an ATM.
The robbery happened early Monday on the city's east side. The employee reportedly was shot in the arm and was expected to survive.
The SUV was left at the gas station. WWJ-AM reports the ATM was later found along with a burned-out vehicle at the Packard plant in Detroit.
Police were searching for the thieves.
