WIZ KHALIFA SIGNS JUICY J... TAYLOR GANG!
Wiz Khalifa is steadily adding artists to his Taylor Gang roster - less than a month ago he signed female rapper Lola Monroe. The newest addition to Taylor Gang is rapper and Academy Award winner Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. Juicy J announced the news on Hood Rich radio yesterday.
"Juicy J is now with Taylor Gang, we goin' in this year man. 2012, we goin' in," he announced. "It's going down. We got a compilation album we're doing. When you hear it, you're going to be like 'Wow!'"
Wiz and Juicy J have collaborated before but it will be interesting to hear what the whole roster cooks up on a compilation record.
UPDATE: LIL BOOSIE SENTENCED TO 8 YEARS ON DRUG CHARGES
Lil Boosie plead guilty to the drug charges today. Judge Mike Irwin sentenced him to 8 years with time served. Boosie respects the courts decision and hopes to significantly reduce that time with good behavior and drug rehabilitation. He is happy to have the charges he was guilty of resolved. Lil Boosie is very grateful to his family, friends, fans and supporters.
Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie arrived at district court Tuesday morning for a pre-trial motion and ended up pleading guilty to drug charges.
Lil Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiring to bring drugs into a penal institution. Judge Mike Erwin sentenced him to eight years in prison.
Investigators said he tried to smuggle drugs into Dixon Correctional Center once and into Angola State Penitentiary twice.
After the judge announced the sentencing, Lil Boosie requested drug rehab. Erwin said he would recommend it but could not order it.
Supporters for the rapper were seen hanging their heads low once the judge made that statement.
On another note, he walked into the courtroom wearing an expensive pair of Adidas tennis shoes, instead of prison-issued sneakers.
There were about 12 deputies with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office surrounding Lil Boosie while he was in court.
Lil Boosie is also charged with first-degree murder in the death of Terry Boyd.
Prior to the plea, Erwin refused to remove District Attorney Hillar Moore from the case.
Erwin later said the search warrant on Lil Boosie's house stands. He then denied a second warrant suppression. The defense said it plans to appeal.
Erwin set the murder trial to begin April 30.
Lil Boosie's lawyers subpoenaed Michael Louding, also known as Marlo Mike, to testify on Lil Boosie's behalf after repeatedly trying to get Louding on the stand.
Louding's attorney, Margaret Lagatutta, said she will fight the subpoena.
Louding is accused of six separate murders.
Prosecutors said Louding told them he was hired as a hitman by Lil Boosie.
It is unclear if the death penalty is on the table.

GTV NEWS: GAS STATION ROBBER ARRESTED
Police have arrested a man that they say robbed a Grand Rapids gas station on Sunday morning while brandishing a knife.
The robbery happened just before noon at the Admiral at 4219 Kalamazoo Avenue SE near 44th Street.
A dark-skinned male wearing a red sweatshirt with a design on it entered the gas station. He was armed with a knife.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday afternoon after police tracked him to an apartment complex on Norton Drive.
Money from the gas station was recovered at the apartment.

WTF: JUDGE SENTENCE A MAN TO LOSE WEIGHT IN JAIL!
George McCovery, 37, dropped 25 pounds in 20 days — a feat he credited to bland prison food and the judge’s weight-loss challenge.“She gave me a chance to prove myself, and I didn’t want to let her down,” he told the Orlando Sentinel.
Judge Donna Miller, whose courtroom proceedings are replayed in the TV show “Lake Courts,” is famous for her unusual sentence deals. In her 17 years as a judge, Miller has ordered defendants to start jogging, take a dance class, tutor math and write Christmas cards, according to the Sentinel.“I do what I do to try to change the person in front of me,” she said, acknowledging that her self-improvement sentences won’t be doled out to everyone. “If the person needs jail, they get jail.”Miller said she would check McCovery’s weight after 20 days. And to her surprise, he had already shed 25 pounds.“It’s not easy to lose weight,” Miller told the Sentinel. “I thought he’d lose 5, maybe, 6 pounds — not 25.”Carrying extra pounds can raise the risk of chronic, debilitating and even life-threatening medical conditions such as heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes. And if waistlines keep expanding at current rates, experts predict half of the U.S. population will be obese by 2030.McCovery, who takes medication for high blood pressure, said he wanted to lose weight during the trial. But it isn’t easy. Obesity treatments, such as bariatric surgery, are effective, but many people are reluctant to undergo such an invasive procedure. And a dearth of drugs approved to treat obesity leaves few options for extreme weight loss short of strict diets and intense exercise programs.But the benefits of weight loss are well worth the effort. According to an August 2011 report, if every obese person decreased his or her body mass index by just 1 percent (a loss of 2 pounds for a 200-pound adult), as many as 2.4 million diabetes cases, 1.7 million cases of heart disease and stroke and 127,000 cancer cases could be prevented.Although McCovery lost more than a pound a day, experts say slow and steady weight loss is the best way to shed the pounds for good.“There’s a lot that goes on between losing that first pound and losing that 100, 50 or even 20 pounds,” Lisa Cimperman, a registered dietitian at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, told ABC News. Aiming to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week can help you stay on track and power through the inevitable weight loss lulls.Along the way, McCovery was encouraged by his detention deputies, the Sentinel reported.“Studies have shown that support groups or just having someone else encouraging you will help make you successful,” said Lisa Cimperman.That encouragement and the promise of making it home in time for Thanksgiving was enough for McCovery, who earned a note of praise from Judger Miller on his release order that read, “Good job, Mr. McCovery!”

GTV NEWS: GR geeks catch copper theft on video + Actual copper theft footage
Two recent Grand Rapids metal theft suspects have had their deed posted on YouTube for the world to see, which their victims hope will help put them behind bars.
Despite measures to cut down on the problem in Grand Rapids, metal thieves are still at it.
On Monday, two men broke into transformers and a generator behind what used to be the YMCA on Leonard Street and stole copper.
Unfortunately for the thieves, the people they stole from are geeks.
At least, that's what members of The Geek Group, led by president and CEO Chris Boden, feel comfortable calling themselves. The Geek Group took over the YMCA in March.
"This is what happens when you pick a fight with the geeks, man! We're going to make you famous," said Boden.
The Geek Group is a non-profit certified educational facility for students who, basically, like to take things apart.
"It's about exploring for the sake of exploring," explained Boden. "Just because you think robots are cool, or just because you think Tesla Coils are awesome," said Boden.
But the people in the video weren't looking for knowledge. They were looking for copper.
After having been stolen from before, the Geek Group installed surveillance cameras on Sunday. On Monday, those videos recorded two men stealing copper.

Amir Junaid Muhadith aka Loon has been arrested in Belgium on charges of heroin distribution. According to Parlemento, the former rapper was in Brussels to give a lecture. He was detained at the request of the United States under the Patriot Act, following a May 2011 indictment that alleges he “knowingly and intentionally” possessed with intent to distribute at least one kilogram of heroin in North Carolina between early 2006 and September 2008.
A copy of the indictment was posted on the website DDotOMen on Friday November 25.
Loon enjoyed musical success between 1999 and 2003. First as a part of Ma$e's Harlem World group before going solo. He was featured on Diddy's hit record "I Need A Girl Pt.1" in 2001. In 2003 he released his self titled debut album which featured the song "Down For Me."
Born Chauncey Lamont Hawkins, Loon converted to Islam in 2004 and legally changed his name.
